Jennifer A. Lesowitz, DNP, CNM, APRN
Jennifer has a passion for providing high-quality prenatal and women’s healthcare. She enjoys guiding women through the stages of pregnancy as well as providing support during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Jennifer attended James Madison University in VA where she received her bachelor’s degree in history. She worked as an Executive Team Leader for Target before changing her career to nursing.
She moved to Florida in 2010 and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Jennifer worked for Orlando Health at Winnie Palmer Hospital in the Women’s Unit before transitioning to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Arnold Palmer Hospital.
She became certified in critical care nursing and was the recipient of the Excellence in Nursing Award. Although she loved working in the PICU, Jennifer always knew she wanted to be a nurse-midwife. She completed both her Master of Science and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees at Frontier Nursing University. Jennifer had been working as a Certified Nurse-Midwife in private practice in Sarasota from 2018 until August of 2021.
Jennifer enjoys developing long-term relationships with her patients and creating a special experience when welcoming the newest member of their family. She also takes a particular interest in helping women with family planning and preventative health.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, kayaking, traveling, and enjoying all that life has to offer.
